Refund policy

For the purposes of this policy, OYNB refers to the company One Year No Beer and encompasses any subsidiary brands.

Thank you for purchasing a digital service from One Year No Beer. As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013), if you should decide that you no longer wish to continue with your OYNB service, you are eligible for a full refund if you express your wish to cancel your membership within 14 days from your initial purchase date. If you do decide that OYNB is not for you, please get in touch with our customer support team at [email protected].

 

Refunds for one-time purchases

Once your cancellation request is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and that your refund has been processed, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, this can take up to five working days from your refund email.

 

Cancellations for recurring purchases/subscription products 

If you wish to cancel your recurring purchase/subscription product – including, but not limited to:

  1. MasterMind+ (MasterMind Plus)
  2. Alcohol-Free Me 
  3. One Year No Beer Community Only 

Then you should do so by sending an email to [email protected] to indicate that you wish to cancel your subscription/recurring product no later than 7 days prior to your monthly/regular billing date. If you notify us of your wish to cancel less than 7 days prior to your monthly billing date, we cannot guarantee that your renewal will be cancelled and you may be charged. 

For example, if you would normally be charged your subscription/membership fee on the 14th of the month, then in order to ensure your membership is not renewed and automatically charged, you should email [email protected] no later than the 7th of that month. Example continued, if your next renewal for Alcohol-Free Me is due to be the 14/08/20, then you must request to cancel your renewal before or on 07/08/20. 

 

Refunds for recurring purchases/subscription products

 

Refunds will only be granted if a claim is submitted within 14-days of the initial/first payment of your recurring membership/subscription. Any refund request received after the 14-day cooling off period has surpassed is entirely at the discretion of the business. 

 

Refunds for live virtual events 

All tickets purchased for OYNB events, and those organised by other organisations on the behalf of OYNB are non-refundable.

Permission to transfer the ownership/name of the ticket-holder for an OYNB event remains at the discretion of OYNB, and is subject to prior written approval from a representative of the company to validate this. 

Personal Data Usage

By buying a ticket to a OYNB event, or by downloading OYNB content, you consent to OYNB to collect, process and use your  personal data for the purposes outlined below:

  • To contact you regarding updates and registration information for the Event or Conference you have booked
  • By registering you are agreeing to join the One Year No Beer (OYNB ltd) mailing list to receive event & marketing updates.
