We have some very exciting news we would like to share with our community. OYNB's CEO and founder, Ruari Fairbairns is an award winner!

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards were held last night, offering us a chance to celebrate all things entrepreneurial, sharing success stories and championing those getting out there and making a difference. The Covid-19 pandemic made this whole experience a little different to usual, but the virtual event was no less exciting. There were 135 awards up for grabs across 15 categories and eight different regions. Our very own Ruari Fairbairns had been nominated, so we waited with bated breath to hear as the winners names were called.

Of the 15 awards available to those in Scotland and Northern Ireland, Ruari managed to not only bag one of these awards, but TWO! Winning both Health & Wellbeing Entrepreneur of the Year for Scotland & Northern Ireland and also overall Great British Entrepreneur of the Year for Scotland & Northern Ireland.

As a small team who have worked very closely together to build OYNB from the ground up, we know how much time, energy and passion Ruari has put into this start up, and how much he truly deserves the recognition this award represents. We could not be prouder of his achievements.

We are so thankful for all the support of our members to help keep us going and we are so excited to help grow his vision even further. Ruari will now be in the finals for UK Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, which take place at the end of November.

Take the challenge
